Mixed rice paper (bánh tráng trộn) or rice paper salad/snack is a very famous Vietnamese street food made with local authentic ingredients.

You can find it on almost every street corner around Ho Chi Minh City; from schools and universities to small, inconspicuous alleyways.

Just look for ladies in conical hats, with their stalls displaying a set of colorful jars and a big bag of rice paper.

The dish is easy to make and its flavor is very unique.

In fact, Vietnam has a wide range of versions of Rice Paper Salad. The most important Rice Paper Salad

consists of rice paper strips, kumquat juice, and shrimp salt. Adding fried onion, fried garlic, tiny shrimp,

satay oil and peanuts is to boost the fragrance of the dish.

You can also add some julienned green mango, one or two boiled quail eggs, shredded beef jerky and

grilled dried squid to have your tasty snacks creatively.
