Vietnamese culinary: from tay ninh rice paper to the overseas
It is no coincidence that international friends appreciate Vietnamese food and vote to make Vietnam the top five most valuable culinary in the world. Each dish has its own tastes and all contribute to the culinary culture of the S-shaped land.
Vietnamese cuisine is characterized by its common dishes. The tastes representing the national soul, loved by travelers around the world, are not found in luxury and expensive restaurants, but in small inns along the roadside... Another feature of this cuisine is that it does not require sophisticated processing or picky choosing the ingredients.
The best, most famous dishes are also the most popular dishes in daily life, which can be seen in a small vendor along the street. Vietnam has a special culture: street food culture, and according to the US newspaper CNNgo: “Mobile restaurants were born in the U.S., yet Vietnam is a street food paradise."
You can easily spot the image of rice paper from the South of the North, whether in the street row or on the dining table of a luxury restaurant. This simple-looking piece is an indispensable ingredient to make some of the signature delicacies that you may have ever enjoyed. The list may goes on: spring rolls, grilled rice paper, salad rolls and popiah, mixed rice paper, pork rolls….
These dishes have attracted foreign diners and received positive comments, such as:
Culinary expert and famous American TV host Anthony Bourdain shared on CNN Travel: “My first trip to Vietnam really changed my life. Vietnam was like another planet, a planet with lots of delicious food, drove me in and never let go”.
July 2011, CNN has placed salad in the top 50 Best dishes in the world. According to World food experts, this dish is easy to make, easy to eat, healthy and safe.
