From Vietnam to Global Markets: Tanisa at THAIFEX 2026
THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2026, one of Asia’s leading food trade exhibitions, officially concluded after five dynamic days of international networking, market insights, and business development in Bangkok, Thailand.
This year’s exhibition brought together thousands of exhibitors, buyers, distributors, retailers, and food industry professionals from around the world to explore emerging food innovations, sourcing opportunities, and evolving global consumer trends.
For Tanisa, THAIFEX 2026 marked the company’s fifth consecutive year participating in the exhibition as a Vietnamese manufacturer specializing in rice paper, rice vermicelli, pho noodles, instant pho, and modern rice-based food solutions for international markets.
THAIFEX 2026 — A Key Meeting Point for the Global Food Industry
Over the years, THAIFEX has become one of the most influential food exhibitions in Asia, serving as a strategic meeting point for global food brands, importers, distributors, retailers, and food service operators.
At THAIFEX 2026, visitors experienced creatively designed booths, next-generation food concepts, healthy food innovations, convenience meal solutions, and modern fusion cuisine trends that continue shaping today’s global food industry.
This year, nearly 200 Vietnamese companies participated in the exhibition. Compared to earlier years, Vietnamese brands are investing more professionally in booth design, branding, and international customer engagement — reflecting the growing confidence and global ambition of Vietnam’s food industry.
Tanisa’s 5th Year at THAIFEX
THAIFEX 2026 represented another important milestone in Tanisa’s international growth journey.
With a young and energetic team — including many members attending an international exhibition for the first time — this year’s participation was both a valuable business opportunity and a meaningful experience for the entire team.
From the early stages of booth setup in Bangkok, the Tanisa team focused on preparing every detail to create a professional and welcoming experience for international visitors. From product displays and buyer meetings to networking activities, every interaction reflected Tanisa’s long-term vision of introducing modern Vietnamese rice-based foods to global markets.
Throughout the five-day exhibition, the Tanisa booth at Hall 6 – G36 welcomed a large number of buyers, distributors, partners, and visitors from multiple international markets.
Rice Paper Is Emerging as a Global Food Trend
One of the most notable trends observed at THAIFEX 2026 was the growing international interest in Vietnamese rice paper and rice-based foods.
Once considered a traditional Vietnamese ingredient, rice paper is now evolving into one of the most versatile food formats in modern global kitchens.
From healthy wraps and fusion cuisine to snack applications and modern meal solutions, rice paper is increasingly being adapted across a wide range of cuisines and consumer markets worldwide.
At the same time, global food trends continue shifting toward:
- Gluten-free products
- Lighter meal formats
- Flexible ingredients
- Plant-based lifestyles
- Convenience foods for modern consumers
These trends strongly align with Tanisa’s long-term product strategy.
Today, Tanisa offers a diversified portfolio of rice-based products, including:
- Rice Paper
- Rice Vermicelli
- Rice Noodles / Pho
- Instant Pho
- Rice-based Meal Solutions
All products are developed following clean-label principles:
- Gluten-free
- Non-GMO
- No preservatives
- Suitable for plant-based lifestyles
Strong Buyer Interest in Vietnamese Rice-Based Foods
From the very first day of the exhibition, the Tanisa booth welcomed strong interest from international buyers and business partners seeking Vietnamese rice-based food solutions.
Buyer activity from Asian markets increased significantly this year, particularly from:
- India
- China
- Korea
- The Philippines
- Other emerging Asian markets
Meanwhile, European visitor traffic appeared slightly lower compared to previous years, potentially influenced by recent geopolitical developments affecting global trade and travel activities.
International buyers showed particular interest in:
- Rice paper applications
- Ready-to-eat solutions
- Healthy food trends
- International food distribution opportunities
Many in-depth business discussions took place directly at the booth, creating promising opportunities for future partnerships and long-term market expansion.
From Tay Ninh to International Markets
Tanisa was founded in 2015 by Estelle Thu, who grew up in Tay Ninh — a region widely recognized for Vietnam’s traditional rice paper craftsmanship.
Growing up around local rice paper producers, she recognized the global potential of Vietnamese rice-based foods and envisioned transforming these traditional products into internationally adaptable food solutions.
From a small exporter, Tanisa has grown into an international supplier exporting rice-based foods to more than 30 countries, including the United States, South Korea, Australia, and other global markets.
Tanisa products are made using rice sourced from Vietnam’s Mekong Delta — one of the world’s most respected rice-growing regions — known for:
- Neutral taste
- Flexible texture
- Consistent quality
- Excellent adaptability for global food applications
These characteristics allow Tanisa products to integrate naturally across multiple cuisines, retail channels, and international markets.
THAIFEX 2026 Reflects the Growing Global Presence of Vietnamese Cuisine
More than just a trade exhibition, THAIFEX 2026 highlighted the rising global presence of Vietnamese cuisine and rice-based foods.
As dishes such as pho, fresh spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and Vietnamese coffee continue gaining international recognition, global demand for Vietnamese ingredients and food products is also expanding rapidly.
This reflects a highly positive outlook for Vietnamese food exporters and brands committed to bringing Vietnamese products to global consumers.
For Tanisa, THAIFEX 2026 marks another important milestone in the company’s long-term vision of positioning Vietnamese rice-based foods as part of modern global kitchens.
Tanisa sincerely thanks all customers, partners, distributors, and international visitors who visited the booth during THAIFEX 2026.
We look forward to returning next year with new products, stronger partnerships, and new global opportunities.
