Ingredients:

Rice paper: 1 pack (Tanisa Rice Paper)
Fresh shrimp: 250g (Peeled and deveined)
Chopped shallots & chopped garlic: 1 teaspoon each
Shrimp seasoning: 1/2 teaspoon seasoning powder (or salt), 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce (or sesame oil) for added flavor.
Fresh cilantro: For garnish.
Cooking oil: For deep frying.

Step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Cooking the shrimp filling

- Cutting the shrimp: After cleaning, pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Cut the shrimp into small pieces.

- Marinade: Mix the chopped shrimp with chopped shallots, minced garlic, seasoning powder, ground pepper, and oyster sauce.

- Rice paper: Cut the Tanisa rice paper into 4 triangular pieces and press the shrimp in the middle.

- Frying: Add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil to a pan and heat over high heat. Add the shrimp and stir-fry quickly for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and firm. Turn off the heat immediately to prevent the shrimp from drying out. Transfer the shrimp to a bowl.

Step 2: Frying the rice paper (flower shape)

Pour enough cooking oil into a deep pan or wok so that the rice paper is completely submerged. Heat the oil until very hot (check by dipping a wooden chopstick in; if bubbles rise quickly around the chopstick, the oil is ready).

Step 3: Serving

- Arrange the crispy rice paper pieces neatly on a plate.

- Pour the cheese sauce over or use as a dipping sauce and enjoy!
