Opening the festival of Vietnamese rice paper

On April 6, at the stadium of the Trang Bang Town, Trang Bang district,  People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province held a solemn cultural festival of Vietnamese rice paper.

 

Many national leaders and thousands of tourists in the province and outside the province attended the opening ceremony.

 

The festival is held to honor the traditional village of Trang Bang rice paper, and announced the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized Trang Bang rice paper craft cultural heritage is intangible countries.This is an important activity in a series of events celebrating 180 formation and development in Tay Ninh province, took place in 2016.

The festival lasts from 6-12.4 with nearly 200 booths introducing gastronomy, trade and tourism. On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has awarded certification intangible cultural heritage for rice paper career Trang Bang.

Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee has honored 11 people, artisans of conservation and development of rice paper in Trang Bang district.

Mr. Duong Van Phong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tay Ninh said, during migration to Tay Ninh live, one of the traditional crafts Vietnamese people inherit and develop the land of Trang Bang to make a living as rice paper career.
